![]() One of the wiles of the devil is to set you up to be an enemy of yourself. When we learn how to resist the devil and stand against his wiles, we will win in the battles of life. The Bible declares 1 Peter 5:8: “Be sober, be vigilant because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”. ![]() Majoring in minors and not putting our energy in the right direction will only lead to frustrations and defeat. Fighting the wrong person will not bring the expected victory. A battle can be won when we first recognize who our enemy is. To win these battles, we must first identify who the enemy is or what the problem is. They motivate us, change us, challenge us and sometimes even make us lose our sleep by disturbing us. We all have expectations, and we order our lives around them. ![]() The expectations are always to win or pass examinations. No normal person goes into a fight with the intention to lose or into an examination hall with the intention to fail when they have prepared.
